If you haven't heard already, Dr. Disrespect is a former Twitch streamer who was allegedly banned permanently from the Amazon-owned streaming platform known as Twitch.tv .
His last few minutes of streaming included unusual behaviour and an abrupt end to the stream as the Doc who is visibly upset looks around him startled by something and the feed cuts off.
There are numerous reports by game journalists like Rod "Slasher" Breslau that suggest something more sinister behind the whole thing and we all are tentatively waiting for the official statement by Twitch.
Many speculate that it had something to do with the ongoing #metoo movement in the Gaming and Esports industry that has had a problem festering within the community. Since Dr Disrespect is known to have a controversial past, many feel Twitch does not want to associate with him. I personally am worried something horrible unfolded and hope it is not serious and maybe even a publicity stunt for something planned by both Twitch and the Doc.
Either way, most of the gaming and streaming community are eagerly waiting for updates and we at Gamer Gazette being very much a part of it will look to update the story as soon as any lead on the entire saga is published officially or by reputed sources.
